Procedure and way of granting the points for the final ranking (grading) |
Each competitor will swim for 30 minutes every 6 hours, during 24 hours, in four shifts. Each competitor will start swimming at the settled time. If a competitor fails to start at the settled time and s/he is not replaced by an extra-member of that team, s/he will be granted 0 (zero) points for that shift. The referee on each swimming lane will count the laps swum by each team in 24 hours. The winning team is the one that manages to swim the most laps in 24 hours. |
5. |
The start and finish of the competition |
The first competitors of each team will start swimming when the whistle blows for the start on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The competitors' names will be called out only 5 minutes before the start. Failure to be present at the referees' desks at the appointed time will entail a penalization of ten laps for that team.
The relay will be handed over 30 minutes after the pool end where the competition started was touched for the first time. Any team attempting to cheat at the start will be penalized by ten laps. The competition will be getting to an end at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning, 24 hours since the start.
|
Only the team captain is entitled to make appeal as to the development of the contest. Appeals will be addressed to the organizers and by no means to the referees, act that would entail a ten-lap penalization. |
